Colegio Bolivar is a private, non-denominational, American school located in Colombia’s third largest city. Our community, including just over 1, 200 students, divided into four school sections: Pre-primary, Primary, Middle and High. Each is led by its own principal and has its own faculty and facilities. The school, whose primary language of instruction in English, is college preparatory, with almost 99% of our graduates continuing onto higher education in Colombia and abroad.
Located on a thirty acre campus at the foothills of Andes, Colegio Bolivar consists of ten classroom blocks, a science building, a library/media center, an auditorium, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, a cafeteria, an administration area, several athletic fields, and a great deal of open space.
OUR MISSION: Colegio Bolivar is an educational community whose mission is to educate its students in a bilingual, democratic environment to be autonomous, and to demonstrate a spirit of inquiry and collaboration, a commitment to excellence, and the highest aspirations for the welfare of both the individual and society.
